Kenyatta Arrived in Khartoum to participate in Signing of South Sudan Peace Agreement

The Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta, arrived Sunday in Khartoum to participate in the festival marking the signing of the final peace agreement between the South Sudanese parties on the sharing of power.
The signing of the peace agreement comes in culmination of the negotiations between the South Sudanese parties which began in Khartoum in last June under auspices of the President of the Republic, who was delegated by IGAD to sponsor South Sudan negotiations.
The Kenyan President was received at Khartoum Airport by the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, and a number of senior officials.
It is to be recalled that Khartoum witnessed last month the signing of the security arrangements deal between the South Sudanese parties
