President Al-Bashir Arrives in Entebbe, Uganda

President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, Saturday arrived in Entebbe, Uganda, on a one-day visit to hold talks with the Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni, toward pushing ahead the peace efforts in South Sudan.
President Al-Bashir and the Ugandan President will a meeting with the Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni, which will be followed by a plenary meeting which will include also the President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir, and parties of South Sudan opposition to discuss issues of the sharing of power at the central and state level in South Sudan State.
The delegation accompanying President Al-Bashir includes the Minister of the Presidency, Dr. Fadul Abdala Fadul, the Foreign Minister, Dr. A-Dirdiri Mohamed Ahmed, the Director of the National Security and Intelligence Service, Lt. Gen. Salah Abdala, and the State Minister and Director of the President’s Offices, Hatim Hassan Bakhit.
The visit comes after the signing of the security arrangements agreement in Khartoum on Friday.
