President of the Republic to chair Sudan delegation to Arab Summit in Dammam

President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir will leave next Saturday Saudi Arabia heading Sudan delegation for the 29th Arab Summit, scheduled to take place at level of kings, Presidents and heads of state and government in Dammam city during April 14-15.
The President of the Republic will be accompanied by the Foreign Ministers, Professor Ibrahim Ghandour, the Minister of Defense, Lt.. Gen. Awad bin Oaf, the Minister of Finance, Mohamed Osman Al-Rekabi, and the State Minister and Director of the President’s offices, Hatim Hassan Bakheet.
The summit agenda includes issues of the Arab national security, Al-Quds, the Arab – Israeli conflict, and developments in Syria, Libya and Yemen in addition to permanent issues, especally solidarity with Lebanon, support to the peace and development in Sudan, support to Comoros and Somalia, occupation of Iran to UAE islands and other topics.
The Summit will review reports on the joint Arab work and implementation of resolutions of previous summits which would be presented by the Arab League Secretary-General and the summit leadership, respectively.
